Member Spotlight: Anna Soon

Anna joined us a little over a year ago, and wow are we glad she’s here. The kindest, funniest, hardest worker in the room, Anna makes the 6:45am a joy. Get to know Anna, this month’s member spotlight!

Q: What originally drew you to CrossFit?

A: After having a baby my energy was at an all-time low. I was still wearing maternity clothes at 6 months postpartum and needed to do something about it! I googled Renew since it was close to my house, and the reviews were so encouraging I decided to try it out!

Q: What made you stick around?

A: Sadie texting me to get my butt in the gym. Ha! But seriously the accountability is HUGE in addition to the loads of energy I have, seeing results so quickly plus FINALLY fitting into my non-maternity clothes!

Q: What is something you’re proud of in the gym?

A: Any week that I’ve shown up at least 3 times; no longer fearing squats; box push-ups on the lowest height!

Q: What is something you’re passionate about outside the gym?

A: Making memories with my family; reading; food; the Arkansas Razorbacks and Summer Moon coffee.

Q: What are a few goals you have for yourself and your family this year?

A: Spending more time outdoors on the weekends; getting vaccinated so we can hang with friends and family again!! And I really want to be able to do floor push-ups by summertime.

Anna, we love you to the ~Summer moon~ and back. Glad you’re a member of the crew!
