Member Spotlight: Keleigh Estes

Member Spotlight: Keleigh Estes

This month’s member spotlight is shining on none other than Keleigh Estes. What’s that? You have no idea who she is? Because you never attend the 5:30am class and she never attends any other class but the 5:30am? Well, buckle up buckaroos:Q: How long have you been doing CrossFit? How long have you been a member at Renew?Keleigh: I started CrossFit in March of 2010 as a way to improve my Army physical fitness test. I was instantly addicted and never turned back. I joined Renew in November of 2021 when I was restationed here for work.Q: What do you do outside of the gym? For work and play?Keleigh: I work as a Telecommunications Operations Chief for the Texas Army National Guard. Focusing in tactical satellite communications and information technology. For play, I love anything outdoors. I try to get out and hike or paddle board whenever time allows.Q: What's something you hope to accomplish one year from now (gym related or not)?Keleigh: At 8 months pregnant I know this next year is full of unknown adventures! I hope to grow into a wonderful mother and partner. Recovering smoothly and getting back into the gym at the same level prior to pregnancy will be my personal challenge.Q: What's something new you've learned recently?Keleigh: I've recently taken a crash course in embracing change. Returning from deployment, new job, new home, new location, new gym, pregnancy, another new home...it's been a whirlwind of a year to say the least! But with change has come some exciting new experiences and an immense appreciation for those that support me through it all.Q: What's the story behind your first tattoo?Keleigh: My first tattoo is a butterfly on my foot. Nothing special about it in particular, but the memory makes me smile. I got it at the beach on Senior Week with my best friend's ID cause I wasn't even old enough! My mom thought it was a joke and would wash off in a week haha! Can’t wait for the day your kid comes home with a fake tattoo that washes off in a week, too. We’re so happy you chose us as your new gym home, Keleigh! You’re a wonderful addition to our 5:30am crew. Never change.–Jealous of how cool our members are? You, too, can be this cool. Come join us! Book a free No Sweat Intro and talk to a coach about membership options. Whether it’s Personal Training, Group Classes, Nutrition Coaching, or Pregnant or Postpartum training – we’ve got whatchya need (and whatchya want). Book here: crossfitrenew.com/no-sweat-intro
